Mission Statement
Under the auspices of Leichhardt Municipal Council, to allow the people of the municipality to see excellence in acoustic music, performed by the best of artists, both local and international. Bringing people of all ages together, the festival aims to create community bonds, encourage music and performing arts and celebrate inclusiveness It is designed to become self funding and serve as a model for urban music events.

"Free Bike Valet Parking!
Ride your bike to Acoustica and our friendly valet's will park your bike so you can enjoy the event. It's just like a cloak room, simply take your bike to the valet parking and receive a numbered ticket. When it's time to leave take your ticket back to the valet parking and your bike will be returned for your ride home."
"Smoke Free Event
Leichhardt Council has a policy to support all community events being smoke free. Please help us in achieving this goal by refraining from smoking on the Acoustica site."

Be sure to be sun smart on the day by wearing protective clothing, keeping hydrated and regularly applying sunscreen. Being sun safe will make your day more enjoyable."
"Licenced Bar and Market Stalls.
Once again, this year the Unity Hall Hotel will run a licenced bar on the premises so you can relax with a glass of wine or a cool ale while soaking up the great sounds of our terrific line up. This year a marquee has been introduced to provide some extra shade, half of the marquee will be licenced and the other half will be unlicenced so families underage patrons can relax in the shade. Leichhardt Council support the responsible consumption of alcohol and hopes Acoustica patrons will enjoy responsibly.
A number of food and market stalls will be present again, so you can either bring your own picnic or buy some delicious treats from the many stalls there on the day, or perhaps you will find that treasure you've searching for at one of the market stalls."
"Something for all Ages.
As in past years, there will be a sideshow alley with a number of kids rides and amusements. Keep an eye out for our roving performers who will be there to thrill and delight the young and the old. Acoustica is a great day out for everyone, families, locals and music lovers alike."
